Full-Time Day Position
Responsibilities
Maintenance Technician Associate job responsibilities include:
• Manage assigned in-house maintenance and repair work orders.
• Maintain a log of work performed and completed.
• Regularly provide clear and concise communication of repairs, projects and service work updates and deliverables to managers and facility leadership
•Purchase and keep inventory of all needed facility maintenance materials.
• Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair. Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs. Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician or determines if repair should be outsourced to a specialist.
• Performs preventative/routine maintenance at all facilities. • Assembles furniture and equipment as needed.
• Handles basic repairs on buildings and equipment (including cabinetry and laminate repairs, drywall and ceiling repairs, basic plumbing and electrical repairs, lighting and flooring maintenance and repairs.
• Oversees contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• As requested by management, perform cosmetic facility maintenance, including painting, patching drywall, and minor flooring repairs.• Diagnose and correct mechanical issues.
• Picks up and removes trash and debris from facilities. Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
• Responsible for cleaning all light panels in treatment rooms, offices, restrooms, walls, windows, hallways.
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries. • Must be able to travel to multiple sites as requested. Interacts with staff in a professional and courteous manner.
• Driving is essential; employees must use their personal vehicle for travel between multiple locations as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
Maintenance Technician Associate required skills & qualifications include:
• Must be skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to take apart equipment to remove and replace defective parts.
• Ability to read parts and instruction manuals as necessary.
• Experience performing routine maintenance and repair.
• Experience in a healthcare setting or medical office is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must have a minimum of two years proven maintenance experience.
• A minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Plumbing license is preferred.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License.
