Front Door Health Screener Job – Coppell, TX

Working under general supervision, the Front Door Health Screener will administer temperature screenings and/or screening questionnaires at facility entrance. The Front Door Health Screener must complete required training on first day of work and comply with all safety precautions set in place to ensure the screeners and individuals being screened are entering or working in a minimal risk environment. Screeners will be provided in depth training on screening procedure and best practices as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to assist with patient, visitor, and employee safety.
Strong communication skills and able to provide excellent customer service.
Administers health and temperature screenings of all individuals entering facility using approved policies, protocols or tools.
Ensures all individuals entering the building are wearing or issued a face covering and facilitates appropriate social distancing during screening process.
May provide face masks to patients/visitors.
Utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the institution, such as face shield, safety glasses, gloves, sanitizers, etc. where necessary and appropriate.
Administer screening questionnaire(s) to patients based on existing policy or protocol.
Ensures lobby is clean, wiped down and disinfected at all times.
Disinfects, cleans, and sanitizes equipment and high touch point areas in screening area.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High school graduation or GED and no experience required.
Previous Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, or Licensed Vocational Nurse experience a plus.
Must follow all infection control procedures including utilizing/ wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as face shield, safety glasses, gloves, for the entire shift.
