Responsibilities

The Radiology Supervisor plays a key leadership role in managing the Radiology/CT team, overseeing the three locations in the Jacksonville area. Working alongside the Program Director and Hospital Partner, this leader ensures high-quality patient care, efficient operations, and exceptional customer service. They foster a collaborative, patient-centered environment that promotes teamwork, continuous improvement, and clinical excellence.

  • In Partnership with Program Director, maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Maintains  HFAP guidelines and ACR guidelines.
  • In Partnership with Program Director, overall supervisory responsibility for the Radiology & CT staff at all Intuitive Health/ UF Health Jacksonville ER and Urgent Care facilities.
  • Oversees daily activities of the radiology staff to optimize productivity and census manages when appropriate.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, performance reviews, and termination of the radiology staff in conjunction with Sr. Leadership.
  • Maintain Radiology staff schedule, ensuring all positions are covered.
  • Ensure that all radiology staff conducts all radiology studies in accordance with the law and company policy.
  • Ensures the delivery of quality service in area of operations. Acts as an educational resource and is available for consultation to medical, nursing and administrative staff.
  • Attends meetings as required and participates on committees as required or directed
  • Establishes and maintains communications within the department and with other hospital departments.
  • Review and uphold lab policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and develop radiology policies and procedures with input from ownership and upper Leadership. Participate in monthly governing board and quarterly quality assurance meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to all law and regulations regarding employment, affirmative action, HIPAA, safety and drugs.
